Maximillian Hux, known simply as Hux on the street, is unique in his semi-retirement from the scavenging profession. Talented in dealings with those who would buy, he shrewdly extracts the best prices for his found stuff. Huxs profits became so enormous (matching the growing ache in his legs, though he would never admit it to anyone) that he decided to try full retirement. A week later he was back in the back alley, realizing that he could not stay away from the work he loves.
So Hux treats himself to a new toy: the latest model of The Cherry Picker, a line of mechanical foraging aids manufactured by Hobo Co. Huxs Cherry Picker 4000 comes equipped with a storage unit larger than past models, as well as more accurate sensory gloves made of the finest kidskin leather (culled from a REAL goat, not the cloned kind).
Hux is a loner. Harboring a natural distrust of people that often helps him get the best prices for his junk, his only friend is a scruffy mutt named Bernard, a found object himself that Hux met one day behind a butcher shop.
Great job on this image.
